DesignView.com originally served as the control server for the GenX Content Management Solution (CMS), developed by Corporate Three Design.
GenX provided a streamlined content-editing experience for many businesses throughout the early 2000s and 2010s. To future-proof sites still using the platform after development ended in 2017, all GenX-based sites had their content-editing functions internalized, fully decoupling them from this domain.
GenX CMS officially reached its end-of-life on December 31, 2021.
Corporate Three Design closed its operations in May 2022.
Today, DesignView.com remains live primarily as a digital archive and potential foundation for future projects.
